Pain Medications: As discussed in Pro Tip#4, Pain meds are a must during your recovery. Your pain levels can vary, but it's better to be prepared. Paracetamol and Ibuprofen can be your best friends in the first few weeks, especially when the pain tends to spike around 18 hours post-surgery. You might get stronger pain relief in the hospital, but once you're discharged, non-prescription pain relief will be your go-to.

Adding moisture to the air with a humidifier can help. Extra tip: You can also use this for your nursery once you have fully recovered.
